How Can a Nice Guy Like Me Be a Muslim?

Whether a Muslim or a Christian, is it really enough to judge others simply because they don't pray the way we do? I faced this treatment and it got me thinking, is being a Muslim synonymous to evil?

How Can a Nice Guy Like Me Be a Muslim?
So this girl asked me “how can a nice guy like you be a Muslim?” She pitied me like I was on a first class flight to hell.
I only smiled and replied. “I’m a Muslim because I believe it’s the right path to follow”
I also know a few Muslim people who wouldn’t hesitate to tell Christians to go to hell.
The truth is, Christians also believe they’re on the right path.
Since this is a spiritual thing, I’ll rather let the supreme being be the judge. I mean I’ve seen converts across both lines. They all claim to have seen the light after years of darkness in the religion they’re coming from.
So who is wrong and who is right? Pastors will interpret the Islamic scripture to suit their claims, Islamic clerics will do the same. In the end everyone is doing subjective analysis to score points.
In all of our disagreement, we agree on something: God is omniscient and the all powerful. For sure, he knew what he was doing when he allowed these diversities. He has the power to make everyone a Muslims or Christians but he didn’t. Jesus didn’t do it, Muhammed (PBUH) didn’t do it but you want to play God trying to align all things that are odd.
Interesting thing is, there are societies in the world today where Islam and Christianity are either outlawed or in the minority. Why not take your bile and hate to those places. North Korea is  good place to start, even China and India.
All I’m trying to say is that Evangelism is good and Dawah is highly recommended but don’t take hate along with your teachings. Teach love and tolerance. Be peaceful and full of impact. Spread positive energy. Be a harbinger of happiness. Don’t offend God in your attempt to please him.
Maybe one day someone will fall in love with your religion because of the kind of aura you exude, and maybe not. I’ve seen example in both stances.
